Baptism

It's official, Adelaide is a baptized Catholic. Saturday evening we all gathered for a very special event at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church by the Bay. The church was really neat, it was built in the 1800s and has no airconditioning. Thank goodness it had rained for a majority of the day so that we didn't all sweat like crazy.

Adelaide was sporting her beautiful Christening dress that Grams bought her at Day Dream Heirlooms. It was a long white French silk gown and lace made by the same company that made Princess Diana's wedding gown. So needless to say the dress was stunning and heavy.

Our little Adelaide was a true champ. The only time she got really upset was when the priest poured the holy water on her head and for anyone who has been a witness to her bath time, she doesn't exactly love when you pour water on her head. We did however discover a new love of hers, candles.

After the baptism we sat out on the pier over the Bay and took a few pictures of everyone while trying to catch the cool breeze.

The crew left the church just in time to catch some fantastic entertainment at Casa de Gasbarro.
