Grant, Adelaide, Melissa (neighbor and good friend) and I headed out for our first beach outing of 2010. This years trip seemed to take forever before it got here, but finally we made it. Adelaide apparently hasn't gotten over eating the sand and this year we weren't so afraid of letting her do it. The water was too cold to swim, but we Adelaide crab walked all over the beach and tried eating seashells while Melissa and I caught a few rays.
It's amazing how every year we all seem to have the same conversation, "we live so close to the beach, why don't we come here more often". And then a month later we get stuck in our same rut of sitting by the pool instead...get in the car or just step outside...you pick.
