The joy of my birthday can sometimes be lost amongst the turkey because every few years it falls on Thanksgiving. This would be one of those years, but friends and family made sure I got my smile in the sun.
A few days before everyone scattered to take time off of work I noticed there were extra co-workers hanging around outside my office. No big deal, just go back to work and I'll figure it out later. Well all the noise was my hot hot jalapeño cake coming down the hall. Why jalapeños? Well we have a free cafeteria at my facility and just about everyday there is some kind of pepper on my tray. Apparently my co-workers pay more attention to my plate then I thought.
Cake at work and then waking up to presents on my actual birthday, not a bad few days in my world.
Happy 32nd to me.
